A review session for Iranian documentary 'Women With Gunpowder Earrings' is to be held in Tehran.

The documentary club for Islamic Revolution Cultural Center is to screen and review the documentary directed by Reza Farahmand.

Winner of the 11th edition of the Cinéma vérité, 'Women With Gunpowder Earrings' will have an exclusive screening in the presence of the director, producer and film critics.

The film is about Nur, a female journalist who covers stories about Syrian and Iraqi women and children in the war against the Daesh terrorists.

In December 2017, the film won the best feature-length documentary award at the 11th edition of the Cinema Verite, Iran’s major international festival of documentary cinema organized by the DEFC.

It also brought Farahmand the award for best director in the national competition section.
